Comment by Nancy Thomas on April 22, 2012 at 6:12pm Everyone always talks about how hard it is to raise a teenager, but I think it starts in their tweens. You can feel the change taking place and to me, puberty is the starting point. Bodies start changing and things have to be explained, not just about themselves, but their peers and the relationships too. It can be awkward for everybody. It is for my household at least.
Comment by Veronica Lester on April 22, 2012 at 6:52pm I don't have a tween myself but I let my niece stay with us a lot and she's 11, so she considers herself a tween. I need help with her because she doesn't get along with my brother, her dad and it's hard connecting with her at times. I want the best for her like she was my own though!
